CUSTOM MADE MOUTH GUARDS
Mouth Guards are extremely important when playing any contact sport.
It is important to have one that is uniquely fitted to you or your
childs mouth.
Not only do mouth guards protect your teeth but they are also available
in a wide range of team and school colours. OCCLUSAL
SPLINT
- Do you grind or clench your teeth?
- Does your jaw ache or feel tender to bite on?
You may need an occlusal splint! Occlusal splints are designed
to protect your teeth from the effects of grinding and clenching,
thus reducing the loss of enamel and tooth structure. Splints can
also be designed with protective guiding mechanisms to guide your
jaw and protect your temporo mandibular joint. Occlusal splints
are worn at night when clenching or grinding frequently occur.
